Right click the page and view the source. See if it lists a mysql error at all.

It looks like you have already installed the script before? Login to phpmyadmin and drop all of the tables in the database that you are trying to install to.

it worked great job but now on step 8 im getting this message...

We are now going to edit some phpBB files, to include changes for the Multi-Forums script.

Did you upload the phpBB files? Perhaps try reuploading everything and starting over from scratch with an empty database. If you still can't get it, feel free to PM me ftp, mysql, the admin username and password that you would like and I will do it for you.
