Doesnt display "forum_doesnot_exist

hello..
im having problems with this script.if i type an invalid url ( the forum does not exist), this doesnt show that page...it does not show the no forum selected or forum is not active page... the browser keep on waiting.. nothing displays on the page..can you please help me.

Login to the Admin Panel, and make sure the error pages settings are correct.

Please let me know if that fixes it.
