create database help

im just trying to install this at the moment, but i was wondering what it meant by 'Create a new database for the script.' Is that sql, access????
please help

i was also wondering if there was a way of not needing to use freetype2 as when i try to install it it says failed, mainly because i dont have that installed on my server

You need to create a new database in PHPMyAdmin (MySQL Database).

To skip the compatibility check, just increase the step number in the url by 1...
